Hello Lander,

 

NOLS is looking for a part-time or 3/4 time or full time housekeeper in the Noble Hotel.

 

Housekeepers are an integral part of our team and we value them highly.

 

There is some flexibility to the schedule. We are interested in people with the flexibility to work weekends when needed.

 

This position is hourly, unbenefitted, and compensation is $9.40/hour. There is the potential for this to turn into a full time benefitted position. Benefits would include: health insurance, vision, dental, tax sheltered annuities, and paid time off. A benefit briefing would be scheduled shortly after starting in the position.

Job Title:  Rocky Mountain Noble Hotel Housekeeper (part-time or ¾ time)

 

Reports to:  Rocky Mountain Hotel Manager 

 

Job Objective:  Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable living and working environment for NOLS staff and students.

 

Qualifications:  Must be able to push carts, work from a ladder, lift objects overhead, lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly, and 50lbs. occasionally. Lifting examples include mop buckets, boxes of cleaning supplies, etc. Experience with the use of cleaning and disinfectant solutions helpful, but not necessary. No materials handling certification required.  

 

Leadership or Supervisory Duties:  Assist with training new housekeepers. Consider and promote new cleaning strategies and products. Assist with inventory management and ordering schedules.

 

Funds and/or Property:  Responsible for maintaining electric and manual cleaning tools. May manage a small fund to operate coin laundry. Responsible for monitoring linen inventory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Clean dormitory rooms, lobby and restrooms including: vacuuming, dusting, stripping linens, replenishing linens, and removing trash.

  • Sort linens for pick up by laundry service. Supervise pick up and redistribution of commercially-laundered linens. Launder, dry, and put away cleaning rags and mop-heads. Pick up, sort, and store all recycling items. Assist maintenance staff with trips to the recycling center, as necessary.

  • Perform special projects and duties, as assigned by the hotel manager.

  • If you are a current and qualified NOLS instructor field work may be possible.
