Rocky Mountain Equipment Manager
The Equipment Manager at NOLS Rocky Mountain directly oversees all aspects of the Rocky Mountain equipment process for 1000+ expedition students and faculty each year. They ensure quality interactions with students, staff and public in the RM outfitting store. They oversee gear purchases, equipment rotation, inventory, gear repair, budget management and merchandise strategy. NOLS Rocky Mountain field programs require equipment for backpacking, mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing and winter camping. This position supports the equipment departments at NOLS Rocky Mountain River Base, Teton Valley, and Three Peaks Ranch.
Rocky Mountain Assistant Equipment Manager
The Equipment Assistant Manager works on the Rocky Mountain Outfitting & Equipment team to create a welcoming and supportive environment for NOLS students, staff, and the public. They manage sales and rentals of outfitting equipment and merchandise. They facilitate instructor equipment preparation, issue and de-issue gear for expedition students, and oversee all outfitting equipment. They also work with the Equipment Manager to supervise and train seasonal employees.
Rocky Mountain Assistant Rations Manager
The Assistant Rations Manager works on the Rocky Mountain Rations (field food) team to create a welcoming and supportive environment for NOLS students, staff, and the public. This assistant manager position serves as the lead in special dietary accommodations. The position contributes to all other aspects of Rocky Mountain rations including planning course food, packing food, ordering and inventorying, and educating field faculty and students on basic nutrition and the NOLS bulk rationing system. They also work with the Rations Manager and other Assistant Rations Manager to supervise and train seasonal employees.
