the Winter Fair is revamping the Royalty Contest. TheWinter Fair is making a
change in their Royalty Program. Instead of havingtheir contest in November
or December, the Wyoming State Winter Fair Queenand Jr Queen Lady in Waiting
will compete and be selected during the TradeShow at the Wyoming State
Winter Fair. Winning contestants will immediatelybegin their reign at
theTrade Show, working alongside the current Queen, andJr Queen. The Lady in
Waiting will officially begin her reign as Queen andJr Queen January 1, 2012
at which time they will receive their crown, sashand buckle. The Wyoming
State Winter Fair Royalty program, is not a “fashion model”program. It is
designed to give Wyoming girls an opportunity to gainconfidence and hone
skills such as public appearance and speaking, volunteering and community
service, among other skills that will bebeneficial in success through school
and after. Central Wyoming College hasgenerously supported our contest with
a scholarship for the Queen. ContactKoni Gilgen at 332-2437 (evenings only)
