WEEKLY: Lander Trivia Thursday at the Coulter Loft, hilarious fun with prizes awarded, 7-9pm. 332-8228, 126 Main St.

Jan. 1 Lander Start 2016 off on the right foot – the 5th Annual “First Day Hike” at Sinks Canyon State Park on New Year’s Day. Bring snowshoes if you have them or good boots. Jan. 15-16 Lander High school ski competitions: skiers from across the state will do a sprint race 12-3pm at the Lander Golf Course. On Saturday the 16th they will compete in a skate race at Beaver Creek Ski Trails south of Lander from 9:30am until 12pm. The Junior High skiers will start 12-1:30pm.
