May 20-21 Riverton Wild Horse Adoption – see wild mustang horses in training. On May 20, a clinic for the general public is offered at 1-3:30pm which previews the horses available for adoption.  On May 21, the gates open for previewing horses at 7:30am – bidding starts at 10:30 am at the Riverton Honor Farm minimum security corrections facility. Inmates work one-on-one with these wild horses to prepare them for social activities and adoption. Call Kathy Fine at 352-0302 for details. Free admission. May 21 Lander The Pioneer Museum in Lander is hosting a McDonald’s Children’s Exploration Series program titled, Pioneer Arts & Crafts Day. May 26 Lander Pioneer Museum hosts the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program: “Wit of Will Rogers and the woman behind the wit, Betty Rogers,” by Richard Maturi.
