I am the International exchange coordinator for EF Foundation. I have a
student who needs a home for the upcoming 2011/12 school year. His name is
Kai and he is from Germany. He is a very bright boy, straight A student,
athletic and open to trying all kinds of new sports, he also enjoys drama.
He comes across as very kind, honest and of excellent character.

When asked why he would like to study in the USA he replied: "There are many
reasons, why I want to spend a year abroad. Many people in my class say,
that I am able to speak perfect english when I come back, but there isn't
someone who says when I come back I knew another country with his story, his
traditions and his culture and this is the reason why I want to
spend a year abroad, but this isn't anything at all. I want to tell how the
Germans are. I want to tell there something about our country our traditions
and our culture. I want meet new people, get new friends and get a second
family in the USA. I wanna see something new and not all the time the same
Germany I know already.

I think I will be a successful exchange student, because I want to represent
my country perfectly. I'm not going there just for taking new experinces,
but I'm going there for giving and taking new experiences."

He would be a great addition to your family and our community. If you would
be interested in hosting Kai or another of our students, please contact me
at 851-6231 for more information.
