FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lander Community Foundation Announces the First Platinum Challenge for
Charities Sponsor

Lander, Wyoming, May 13, 2013—Fremont Therapy Group has become the first
platinum level sponsor for the Challenge for Charities event, contributing
$10,000 or more. That money will go into the matching funds pool raised by
the Lander Community Foundation. The funds match contributions made by
community members.

Stepping up to the platinum level was an easy decision, according to Brent
Kaufman and Scott Phister, the physical therapists who co-founded Fremont
Therapy Group in 1996. Last year, they gave at the Challenger $5,000
Gold-level.

“We wanted to give back to this community which has been so supportive of us
and made our business a success,” said Brent Kaufman. “We also live in this
community and benefit from all of the philanthropy here. It’s a win-win
situation.”

The chance to make one substantial contribution that will have a widespread
impact in Lander was also a draw. By contributing to the matching funds,
they are incentivizing community members to donate to the Challenge for
Charities causes.

Donors realize their donations will be “matched”—or increased—by the
Challengers’ money. Last year, donations were matched by 54-percent. A $100
donation grew to more than $150.

This year, 35 non-profit groups are participating in the Challenge for
Charities.

The end result: the community gives more and Challengers see their
contributions spread out over a wide range of worthy causes.

Another benefit to Challengers like Fremont Therapy Group is the positive
publicity. Platinum level Challengers’ names are publicized on banners,
promotional materials for Challenge for Charities event and other foundation
work. However, Kaufman underscored the harder-to-measure chance to “do the
right thing.”

“We have received so many benefits from working here in Lander. It’s a
chance to do the right thing and show our support. It feels full-circle.”
