Dec. 2-7 Riverton A Christmas Carol play adapted by Mike Myers. At CWC,

Dec. 4&5 Riverton 10th Annual Festival of Trees – Christmas Celebration,
Fremont Hall, Riverton Fairgrounds. Thursday, Dec. 4th FREE family preview
with Santa from 3-5 p.m. Whole family dinner for $10. Fri., Dec. 5 is the
Gala banquet evening of auctions, entertainment, and bidding for best

Dec. 5 Lander PBS Special Filming of "Wyoming Chronicle: A Lander Community
Christmas," at the Lander Community and Convention Center at 950 Buena

Dec. 6 Riverton United Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar, from 9 am to 1
pm. Serving coffee & rolls from 9-10:30 am. Serving luncheon 11 am - 1 pm.
All goodies are homemade by women of the church.

Dec. 6 Lander welcomes the holiday season with Light up Lander!  Enjoy
hayrides, cookies & cocoa and a special visit from Santa from 3-5 pm. Bring
a canned good for the local Food Bank in exchange for a raffle ticket to
win several adult and kids bikes!  New location for this year is Mr. Ds
Food Center at 7th and Main St. FREE.  Dress up warm and join the fun!

Dec. 6 Dubois welcomes the holidays with the Corner Lighting Up Ceremony at
6pm, Ramshorn & South 1st Street, FREE. Enjoy the colorful lights with
cocoa and cookies served.  Followed by the Spirit of Christmas, hosted by
the Dubois Museum and Dubois Library at the Headwaters Center, 20 Stalnaker
St., 7-9:30pm. Come enjoy live music and free holiday refreshments.

Dec. 6 Riverton Museum Series: High Mountain Basins and the First
Americans, a presentation by Marcel Kornfeld, 3:30pm. The focus of his
recent research and that of the Paleoindian Research Lab (PiRL) is the
peopling of the Americas, Paleoindian period especially the study of the
First Americans in the high Rockies, and human use of rockshelters.

Dec 6&7 Lander Art in the Afternoon - unique original fine art and
hand-made crafts. Over 50 regional artists. This large and local favorite
holiday art show is at the Lander Community & Convention Center, 950 Buena
Vista Drive. Members appreciation shopping only on Sat. Dec. 6th, 6-8pm.

Dec 13 Riverton Museum Speaker Series: Traditional Indian Hoop Dance

Dec. 20 Riverton Non-traditional holiday performance of "The Naughty
List!"  Bring the family to see who is on Santa's nice Christmas list, and
who made the naughty list!  Show held at Jerry's Flowers, 409 East Main
St. from 7-9pm.  A colorful cast of over 20 folks aged 8 to 61 will

Dec. 27 Riverton Open Mic Night at Mammoth Music, 7-8:30pm at 318 East Main

each month to musicians, bands, and other stage performers for this family
