Technique*
The High School Nordic Ski Team will again be providing free ski lessons
this Saturday, February 7th from 10 am - noon at the Lander Golf Course.

 All ages and abilities are welcome. This is great opportunity to try out
cross country skiing for the first time, to learn ways to improve your
classic or skate skiing, or to learn tips on how to ski
more efficiently and faster. Classes will be offered for beginner through
advanced levels, in classic or skate skiing.  Treats and refreshments
provided.

 There is no cost for the clinic but donations are welcome to help fund
team activities and skiers to attend the Cross Country Junior Nationals
Championships in March.  Three Lander skiers are vying for the chance to
compete at this "Junior Olympic" level.

 Bring your own equipment or ski packages can be rented at Gannett Peak
Sports located at 351 Main Street.  Open on Friday until 6 pm, it's a good idea
to rent before Saturday.
